"I believe therapy starts with a safe and supportive partnership between client and therapist."

Whether you’re considering starting therapy for the first time or returning after a break, it’s normal to have questions about what the process might look and feel like. That is completely understandable. I’m here to help you explore and clarify how therapy could support you—whether you’re dealing with a recent life event or something you’ve been carrying for a long time. I believe therapy works best when it begins with a partnership between us that will serve as the foundation of our work together.

Once we meet, we will decide what our work will look like and what approach will best serve you and your individual needs. Generally, my approach is relational and psychodynamic, which just means I pay attention to what happens in our sessions to better understand how you relate to others and yourself. We might explore patterns in your history and present, gently questioning old ones that no longer work and discovering new possibilities. I also incorporate evidence-based practices (such as CBT or DBT techniques) when appropriate. Above all, I am committed to a trauma-informed and individualized approach, considering how to make our work together feel safe and supportive for you.

I support people going through a broad range of challenges—like anxiety, depression, big life changes, or relationship struggles. I have experience in a range of clinical settings, including university and college counseling. My goal is to create a space where you can bring your full self—your thoughts, your feelings, your questions—without judgment. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship and work toward meaningful change, both inside and outside of therapy.

I look forward to meeting you and starting from wherever you are. We can figure out the next step together.
