"I think of therapy as a space where we can explore not only what is difficult or distressing, but also what is joyful, connective, warm, and creative. "

I believe that noticing what goes unspoken is just as important as recognizing the patterns in your life, and that not-knowing is just as valuable as curiosity.

My approach is primarily relational and psychodynamic, meaning that our work is rooted in the relationship that unfolds between us and how it may illuminate aspects of your relationships to yourself, to others, and to the systems around us. I view mental health through the lens of intersectionality, keeping in mind the impact of histories both personal and collective. At the same time, I believe that you know yourself deeply, and that it is essential to listen without making assumptions about your experiences and what might feel most pressing for you.

While I work with clients of all identities and areas of concern, I have a specific background in working with people under the LGBTQ+ umbrella, people exploring their relationships to their bodies, people who identify as neurodivergent and/or disabled, and people with complex, intergenerational, and/or cultural trauma histories. I also have experience with adults of all ages, particularly those whose lives are in transition, and I have worked with groups as well as individuals. My hope is that we can collaborate in creating a safe-enough space for your whole self to emerge; I’m honored to meet you there.
