Throughout our lives, we learn to navigate the world in certain ways, helping us survive and make sense of things; our responses, beliefs, and patterns of relationships are shaped by past experiences. I work with you to better understand these experiences, and compassionately reflect on how your past informs current ways of being, acknowledging interpersonal and systemic influences.
I strive to work with you and your understanding of yourself, curating tools and approaches that will support you as we make space to explore and make sense of your experiences. I have a background in relational-psychodynamic and attachment perspectives, training in a number of modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, and experience with creative interventions. I understand that everyone seeks different things in therapy; it is my goal to meet you where you are, bringing the tools and approaches that make sense to you.
I have experience working with teens, young adults, and adults, including LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as families and groups around a variety of topics, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. I believe that you bring an understanding of yourself, your concerns and your strengths. I hope to provide support to your whole self in navigating your experiences with compassion.
